When I turn off comments, it says comments closed instead of the entire box disappearing as it does on other sites I have with the exact same theme and Marketer. How can it be so and what is the error? Is it code that has not disappeared since the previous theme or?
EDIT: Just on the start page I noticed now.
Created a new page and paste the content there and then it disappeared. Do you think the error is gone now or is there any unnecessary code left? :)

the Comments Closed statement can be a little buggy at times. Its generally resolved by checking off the various discussion options and then ensuring the allow comments field is checked on the post.
If when creating a new post the issue is resolved then I am sure you are all good. Keep us posted. :)
