    hi GP,

i’m trying to get the same comment section layout as on some sites on the GP site libary.

    see this image please: https://ibb.co/4snN104

when i add the comment section, all i get is the normal comment box and submit button, but no fields for website name, person name, email etc.

can you help me set it up same as you have on the site library?

    many thanks

    Hi Tony,

The comment system is handled by WordPress itself.
    https://wordpress.org/support/article/settings-discussion-screen/

Those should be the default fields unless you’ve disabled them

    hi Leo,

i’ve just checked and I don’t believe that i’ve disabled them, but they won’t show for some reason.

feel free to have a look on the temp log in i sent you.

The link logs me in as a user so I wouldn’t see those field.

Do you allow people without an account to comment?

i do allow people with no account to comment.

the temp link should give you access as admin.

    Hi Tony,

I believe when users are logged in, there won’t be email/name/website field in the comment section, since this info is already in the database when the user is registered.

So you’ll need to test it when you are signed out.

    Let me know 🙂

    Hi Ying,

I’ll test it out and let you know.

How do i edit the sumbit button on comments and take off the black border?

    hi Ying,

i’ll need to launch the site first, then test it from my mobile phone…something i’ll come back to in a few days, when and if i launch.

    thank you guys, appreciate it.
