Column Button Not Working

I am using Lightweight Grid Columns + Sections add-on. In the editor, when I push the column button nothing happens. I have used the column button before with no problem.
I had easy columns plugin installed and it won't pop up either. I have since deactivated it.
Yesterday I found that my computer was hacked. I wonder if something the repairman did broke this? They added an AdGuard extension but I have it turned off.
What should I do? Where should I look?

ps I'm using GP Premium Version 1.3.1 not sure why I did not get the update to 1.4

Can you try to update 1.4 to see if it works?
It was just released so the notification might take a bit longer.

Worth noting the column button doesn't work with the latest version of Firefox / Win10. The same button is fine using Chrome.
