[Support request] Colum background customization not working

Hello,

I have been using the GP free version with SiteOrigin page builder. Few days ago I did update to GP Premium and changed the builder to Elementor.

After uninstalling SiteOrigin page builder and SiteOrigin Widget bundle, I noticed something is not working in Elementor: It does not show when I attached an image as a background in a column. When I put an image as background in the section, it does work. But it does not work when I do the same with the column: Style > Classic background and add image.

I did delete all my plugins and themes and reinstall only the GP theme, GP child theme and GP Premium plugin, but it still does not work 🙁

The site is not live, please let me know how can I give you private access.

Hi there,

probably best to ask this of elementor support. But – one thing to check, does the column have any content? If it is empty then the background will not show. Try adding a Space Widget to test.
