Color of mailto link changes at footer

Hi
Search Theme
Editing upon demo content.
Footer text is WHITE.
When I add an email address and link it to mailto the color of the text is not longer white and it can't be read, where can I edit and set this behavior?
I'd like the text of the mailto be kept as white and only add some color change on hover.

How did you add the link? If you are using Headlineblock of GB, make sure you select #ffffffas its link color.
Otherwise, it will use the link color set in customizer > colors.

I actually figured out, in the block edits when the text was selected.
