Code Block Renders in Full Screen
7 replies · Started by Vikram on February 27, 2022
In WordPress Post Editor, When I add a code block, the width gets larger than the other blocks.
As this image: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/23046584?key=f413da852afa0a0af3f2fd8f6cb95258
Other blocks render in the normal size.
Any help would be appreciated.
I raised this in the WordPress forum to check if it's a WordPress issue. However, They say it might be an issue with the theme in the reply

I'm using the Generatepress premium on this site.
Could you please help?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Vikram,
I tried replicating the issue from my end but couldn’t do so.

To have a better understanding of the issue, may you provide the link to the site in question?
Hope to hear from you soon. :)
Add the details in the private information for your tests.
Thank you for providing temporary access, however, I can’t seem to login. I was blocked by your security plugin.
In any case, can you link me to the page/post where the specific issue is occurring?
Hope to hear from you soon. :)
Please check now. I've created a new account for you again.
Hi there,
is this only in the editor ? IF so its a known issue that will be patched in the next update.
You can access the PR for it here:
Thanks for the solution.
I've made the edit to the CSS file as suggested in the link: https://github.com/tomusborne/generatepress/pull/349#issuecomment-1050852852 and now all is fine.
You're welcome
