Click vs Hover menu drop down: extend hover time?

Hi,
I have a site that has a pretty straight hierarchy that works great with drop down menus. When I set the drop down menu to "click" it's great because the menu appears on the screen and stays and is easy to navigate. But navigation doesn't work for any pages where drop downs are nested under. The click only brings up the menu, it doesn't navigate to the page.
If I switch it to hover, it brings up the hover menu AND navigates to the page. But the hover is really hard to navigate because I have a dropdown nested within a drop down. (see my "Art" section in the header nav)
Is there any way I can either:
1. Extend the hover time (so it feels like a click menu to the user but also navigates to the dropdown source page)
OR
2. Change the click settings so that the source dropdown page is opened on click as well as the dropdown menu?
Thanks! I love generate press so much and I'm looking forward to solving this one small issue. :-)
Hi there,
Have you considered using the Click - Arrow dropdown type? That way the sub-menu opens when you click the arrow, but you can still click the menu item.
Let me know :)
Haha, it's always the most obvious thing isn't it. I dismissed the click arrow option thinking it would be too picky to navigate so I hadn't even tried it. I just did and I think it will probably work well for me. :-) Thanks for your help!

No problem! :)
