Clarification: Is there any way to have sidebar with elementor full width?

If "Page Layout" in Elementor = Default,

Then sidebar = visible.

The inverse is true if "Page Layout = Full width"

Is there any way around this, or does it even matter? I.e. What could I set full width to in GP that equals Elementor full width?
