[Support request] Child theme vs Just Generate press

Hello all, first of all – amazing work with Generate press. I need your oppinion about should I use child theme or not. Until now I am using everytime childthemes but with builder, now I want to use only Gutenber, because I really need speed for this project. I will have of course custom css and some pho in function.php. Would it have any speed difference if using child vs none child. Thanks

Hi there,

child themes can create extra requests for style sheets so small impact on loading.
Generally use Child Themes where you must, like custom templates or lots of CSS / Functions.

If not required then Additional CSS, GP Elements and Code Snippets will see you right.
