Child theme update from 0.1 to 1.0: inaccessible site

Hi,
I seem to have ran into a child theme problem. Never seen it before.
Situation: clean install of WP5.0.1 + GeneratePress + GP Premium. I created a GeneratePress child theme with the template for child themes provided in your documentation.
Now the following happens:
- After uploading the child theme I get a notification that the child theme needs to be updated from version 0.1 to 1.0.
- After completing the update, the site is inaccessible (= blank).
- Removing the files of the child theme makes the site accessible again.
Is this a GeneratePress problem or a WP 5 problem with child themes?

Hi there,
Not sure why you are getting notification to update the child theme as there isn't any changes in the child theme.
I just installed a brand new child theme and not getting the notification.
Can you try #1 here to eliminate any plugin conflicts first with the child theme (0.1) activated?

- Deactivated plugins: problem was still there
- Created a new client theme from scratch: problem gone
Strange, there are no differences between the files of the two child themes. Maybe something went wrong with the zipping of the files.
