Child Theme + GP Premium Error Message?
4 replies · Started by Matthew on January 2, 2019
I installed a child theme and now I'm getting this message in WP:
GP Premium requires GeneratePress to be your active theme. Install now.
How do I fix this?
Hi there,
Did you download a child theme from here?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-child-theme/#installing-a-child-theme
Can you make sure it's activated?
Downloaded from there and activated.
I think I found the problem. I had deleted the comment portion from the style.css and I think that triggered the error. Once I put it back in, everything fixed itself. Thanks.
I install the WordPress theme "generate press premium" and i got the error,The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet. I'm new to wordpress and really don't understand how to fix this problem that I really should not have to deal with. Please tell me an ease fix or refund my money please.
