Changing Side Bar widgets

Hi Tom, I've two questions:
a) Can you take a quick look at my website http://prob2bcopywriter.com/ to see if something is wrong with the header? I posted this on Facebook with my URL and the site came up showing PWA Certificate (this was posted in Widgets as JPEG) instead of my header logo. I thought the header logo should appear with our URL.
b) Currently, my site has the same content in the Right sidebar. How do I change this right sidebar for just one page eg Services where I can insert other images or testimonies?
Thanks,
christy
Hi Christy,
a) Try this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wonderm00ns-simple-facebook-open-graph-tags/
b) This plugin might help: https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/display-widgets/
Let me know :)
Thanks, Tom. I got (b) working with your plugin.
However for question (a) on the header logo, the plugin you attach above seemed to be the same as (b), so guess you attach the wrong one here, right? :) I did a search based on the wordpress site and found this - https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-display-header/ <- would this works too?
Thanks,
christy
Sorry about that! Just edited the post :)
Tom, I've uploaded the plugins for (a) above but not sure where/what I should insert in the form to show my URL image properly on FB. It's still showing the PWA certificate instead of my header logo. I may call Godaddy tomorrow to see if they can fix for me.
Thanks,
christy
Ah, I think the FB thing skips the logo and uses any images found in the content.
If the only image found is in a widget, it will use that.
Instead of the plugin above, try out Yoast SEO: https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/
In the "Social" tab there's a spot to upload the facebook logo for the page/post :)
Tom
Thanks so much for your help - it does help as now the header logo shows up in FB. However, the image that came up was so huge - I tried to resize it but cannot seem to get it to down to a decent size. Still have to work on this image.
Do you think by putting the header and nagivation in the layout cause this issue?
Thanks a lot,
christy
I'm not sure what you mean by putting the header and navigation in the layout?
Is it showing big when shared to Facebook? I also just choose my own image when I post something to Facebook - much easier.
It most likely has to do with how FB handles certain sizes - have you tried using different sized images?
Thanks, Tom. Issue has been resolved but forgot to inform you :)
Great :)
