Changing logo image in footer

Hi,
I have a logo image in the footer, currently in a widget.
Is it possible to change the image, depending on which category I am viewing?
(I've added categories to pages using "Category Tag Pages" plugin)

Thanks, That plugin doesnt really seem right in my case.
However I'm using "conditional menus". However it needs to have a menu area registered.
Is it possible to use register_nav_menu to add a menu area to a specific footer widget area?
