Change top bar color

Trying to change the default color of the top bar and the instructions are ...

The Colors add-on adds all of the color options you need for your widget area in Customize > Colors > Top Bar.

I seem to have all the color menus except the top bar? Is there something else I need to enable? I have one text widget in the top bar.

Hi Michael,

Can you first make sure you are running the latest version GP Premium? We are on 1.2.96.

Thanks, I thought I was on the latest but updating has fixed the issue.

Hi,
I have the last version of GP and GP premium but I can't change the colors of the top bar. I don't see the "TOP BAR" option in "Colors" section.

Hi there,

have you added a widget to the Top Bar? If it is empty then it won't display. If you do then make sure you have the Colors module activated in Appearance > GeneratePress.
