    Hi guys,

Following David’s advice, we decided to optimise the site for viewing on screens up to 2560px width. David explained how to change the widths/boxes from Full Screen to 2560px.

However, for some reason we are finding things like the header and footer are still stretching to full screen. This is a problem for us because the logo is left aligned and the menu’s are right aligned. If this is viewed on a screen above 2560px – then the logo’s and menu’s get pushed to the extreme edges of the screen making for a poor UX. Also, we are having trouble getting the blog to push to 2560px. I have changed the Elementor/Settings/Style to 2560px.

Does anyone have any ideas why this may not be working?

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mark

    Hi there,

check the Customizer > Layout > Header and set the Inner Header Width to Contained. This will keep keep it within the container set in the customizer.

If you’re changing the page to fullwidth using the Pagebuilder Container in the page editor it won’t work on the blog. WP ignores Meta Boxes on these types of ‘page’. Instead you can set Page Builder Container globally or on specific pages including the blog with this:
