Hi there,
so you want to remove the featured image post navigation?
If so go to the Dashboard > Appearance > Elements. Within you will see a Custom Post Navigation Element. Delete it or Save it Draft. Then in Customizer > Layout > Blog you will need to enable the Post Navigation.

Usually (on my other sites) I can toggle the related post navigation on under settings>Reading
Aah sorry my bad, – the Related Posts will require a plugin, its not part of the GP Theme. Something like:
https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/related-posts-for-wp/
If you want to put the old post nav back then you can retrieve the Custom Post Navigation Element from the Trash in the Elements panel.
