Change Cart Icon

I am using the FA official plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/font-awesome/
would that make a difference? I found some icons would not work without it.
Hi Leo, ok I think I might have worked it out, but I don't know why it is doing what it is doing or how to fix it.
I am using the FA plugin to load FA because some icons will not load if I let GP load them. The icon I am trying to use for the cart is the shopping-bag icon, but this is different for FA4.7 and FA5 but with the same \fxxx code (\f290)
FA5: https://fontawesome.com/icons/shopping-bag?style=solid
FA4.7:https://fontawesome.com/v4.7.0/icon/shopping-bag
So it seems like GP is loading the one from 4.7 on the home page, but the one from FA5 everywhere else which is what I want which is the one I want on the home page as well.
If I disable the FA plugin and use the CSS line font-family: 'Font Awesome\ 5 Free'; it won't display either the 4.7 or 5 icon.
Does that all make sense?
So it seems like GP is loading the one from 4.7 on the home page
GP itself doesn't load FA at all. It's likely that one of your other plugins is loading it.
Take a look at this article which might help:

Yep you're right I just found it... Revolution slider is loading FA 4.7... I know it now puts it out of the scope of support but if you have seen this before and could point me in the direction of how to stop it doing that I'd really appreciate it, there seems to be no setting for it.
thanks
Unfortunately I don't know a way.
Would be good to check with their support. Hopefully they have a filter to turn that off :)
