change background color current in scroling sections

Hi tom, i'm making a landing page, It is structured as follows:

Page Header - [id="home"].
Section-1 - [id="generate-section-1"].
Section-2 - [id="generate-section-2"].
Section-3 - [id="generate-section-3"].
footer - [id="footer"].

in Menu add Custom Link, for example:
Home, Url="#home"
section-1, Url="#generate-section-1"
section-2, Url="#generate-section-2"
section-3, Url="#generate-section-3"
footer, Url="#footer"

when i navigate to page down or up, background color current in menu always at home, there a way that when browsing the page, and go through the sections, change the background color, the current menu according to the option,
