how can I change the background color on my home page in different sections as in the attached image

Hi there,
looks like you're using Elementor on your site. Then you can set the pages Page Builder container to full width:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-builder-container/
Then within Elementor you can set the Sections background color.
