Centering Content in columns

Hi I added Columns using shortcodes to my website but I can not center the content in the columns without a bunch of style="text-align: center;"> in between each column.

I think there must be a easy way to center and maybe even give each column a different background color with using the CSS-Class.

something like this just on top of an background image https://paste.pics/74efcf3fbdd06bf37669cffe8c3969d6

Thanks

Hi there,

Looks like your site is under coming soon.

Can you unlock it so we can see?

Let me know :)

Saw your login in an account issue e-mail.

Hmm for that specific section you can just use this:

#generate-section-4 {
    text-align: center;
}

The columns are from Shortcodes ultimate?

I really wouldn't suggest doing that anymore with the new Gutenberg Columns in place.

thanks for your reply, I haven't really tried Gutenberg yet. Would you rather change from classic editor to Gutenberg? and deactivate Shortcodes

Personally I really like Gutenberg.

There is a bit of learning curve but it's the future for sure :)

Thanks Leo, I give it a try. Can I still use the Section Module in Elements. I'll give it a try and get back if I get stuck again.

Currently not possible to use Sections with Gutenberg.

But we will be introducing Sections blocks relatively soon.

If you can wait a bit, I would high recommend to do so :)

I used the strong testimonials plugin to create something similar to what I want. But I will try it later with Gutenberg, once it is available for Sections.

Sounds good :)
