Category Pages Text

I found the following post (https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/add-text-to-category-pages/#post-807910) which helped me to add text to my category pages. After noticing that forum post is from 2019, I am wondering if there is now a better way - or if that is still the preferred method?
Are there plans to make it more streamlined to include text on category pages?
thanks,
Walt
Hi Walt,
If you just want to add pure text, hook element is still the way to go.
If you want to add text with some style, then block elements - hook should be a better choice which allows you to use Gutenburg to create layout and style.

Thanks Ying for telling me about block elements - hook.
When I add text using this, the text on my category page is too far to the left. How can I get the added text lined up w/ the Category title (or padded just a bit)?
thanks,
Walt
Sorry - duplicate post.
If you are using Generateblocks as block editor which we strongly recommend, you'll be able to wrap a Container outside the text, and the container can be set to certain width to match your content container width.
