Category Labels under Posts, in blog view & single post

Hi,
Maybe 5 years ago, with the help of Tom as far as I remember, I added categories as labels under posts in blog view and single blog posts. That solution required lots of functions.php code and also css.
After watching several videos on GP youtube channel, I think it's achievable thru using elements, without php code & css.
