can't use animated gif in logo navigation

how can i resolve this?
Never tried this, but to my knowledge GP doesn't block GIF support.
I think the problem is that GIF's break if they are resized. And the Nav logo would be getting resized by the navigation height and the padding. So aside from adjusting the line height so the GIF is not resized i am not sure what to suggest.
