Cant upload logo to header

I have tried using the site identity section in the customizer but it adds as the actual size of the image above my header and not all the way to the left. Currently an image is not showing up in that spot, only an alt tag I specified previously for a logo I put up that worked. I stupidly deleted that old logo image because I thought I knew the method to upload the logo to there. Clearly I do not.

Hi there,
so in the Customizer > Identity you should be able to just add a new Image for the logo.
If you can remove the coming soon or provide temporary access to the site we can look at the alignment issues.
