Cant Update Generate Press Child Theme

Hello,
In my dashboard, I see that there is an update available for Generate press.
I click the "Generate Press has an update button", which then takes me to the theme page. I cant see where I can update my Child theme. It only allows me to customize my active theme.
Would appreciate any help.

you don't need to update the Child Theme, just select the GeneratePress theme and update that.

Thanks for the quick reply. In my dashboard, it shows the standard Generate Press theme as "not active" only the child theme is. Would I have to activate it?
No need to activate it. If you click on the Theme, on the popup it opens you should see an Update option in there.
I don't, it just says activate or live preview.
Where would the update button be located?
What happens if you go to Dashboard > Updates ?
Is the theme listed there ?
I have a multi-site so maybe Im doing something wrong?
If you click on My Sites is there a link to Network Admin ?
