Hi there,

if i remember correctly, is only present in the old Float ( not flexbox ) theme structure and is still listed for legacy sites.
Where specifically do you want to add the element ?

In the mobile drop down menu I want to add social icons to just the mobile menu and not the website menu.

There is no hook inside the standard mobile menu drop down. How about using the Off Canvas Panel for mobile ? That has a widget area and 2 x hooks ( generate_inside_slideout_navigation and generate_after_slideout_navigation )
