[Resolved] Can't find the grid column button / feature boxes

Hey there,

I want to create something like feature boxes/ a 3 column layout to link to subpages by maybe a little picture and text… and I read some articles here, so I installed the lightweight Grid Columns Plugin. But I can’t even find the button. Is wordpress 5.1 not ok for using the plugin or what can I do? I can’t find another editor-layout too… only the visual and the html, but I don’t have the hole menue I think…?

Maybe you have an idea for me. Thank you so much!

Hi there,

Lightweight Grid Columns really isn’t the best option anymore.

If you are using WordPress 5.1, I’d recommend using the Gutenberg editor with Columns block.

I think I use Gutenberg cause I can’t use it NOT, or? 😀
It’s not a plugin in my list, but I work with blocks.

I think then the way is to use the columns function..but I don’t know how to style that… I have to research 😉

Can you tell me if I can disable Gutenberg and try your LW Grid Columns Plugin again?

Think you will need the classic editor plugin:

Gutenberg Columns Block is definitely the better solution 🙂
