Can't delete / remove sections

I've suddenly encountered an issue that I've not had before - When I click on the 'X' to delete / remove a section from a page, the 'X' turns red and everything freezes until I refresh the page. The section that I have tried to remove is still there.
Is this a known issue? Any idea on how to fix it?

very odd. Which browser are you using? And can you try editing that page in a different browser or at least a private / incognito browser.
Good call - I was using Safari 12.0.1 but switched to Chrome and all is working again.
