Can't customise Blog layout

Hello,
Something seems to have gone wrong with my theme as every time I try to make a customisation change I get this message:
Unable to save due to 1 invalid setting
There are no details about what this is, it just won't let me do anything. I'm using the Wordsmith theme and recently installed Smush and Hummingbird to try to speed my site up. Would they cause any problems?

Can you try deactivating all plugins except GP Premium to test if there is a conflict somewhere?

Hi, it looks like it's Gutenberg. Think I should keep it deactivated or remove it?
Strange. We are all using Gutenberg with GP without any issues.
You get the error with GP Premium and Gutenberg as the only activated plugin?
When I turn Gutenberg off, it's fine. When I turn it back on again, I get the problem. I haven't tried it with all of the plugins off yet, I'll try that next. Thanks

Hi, I just deleted Gutenberg. Heard too many bad things about it and I don't think it's worth the risk. Thanks anyway.
