Can't change background colour

Hello,
Feel slightly stupid asking this question, but I can't seem to change the 'background' colour. As you can see here, the page has been created with Elementor, but where the section ends the background is grey.
I've checked other forums, 4x checked the colour options, tried various CSS and nothing is working.
Any suggestions?
