Cannot remove gap between logo and navigation

I can't seem to tighten up the space between the logo and the menu. I have removed all the custom css, and I have the header bottom padding set to zero, but I can't figure out what I'm missing.

Are you using a child theme?
If so can you test if the customizer option works by activating the parent theme?
