Jon
I have set up a new website that I want to just have separate boxes in the main container that will have an RSS feed for multiple websites. I don’t intend to make new posts.
No side bar, just say maybe 3 boxes wide and 4 deep like a table grid with a title over each individual box. Do I make any sense? LOL
Here is an example of what I mean https://www.online-ministries.org/news-feed-example.html
Is it possible to do? I would like to keep the header and footer as is and just be able to make the container like the link above.
I set the table I made up in a post at the new website https://www.christiannewsnetwork.net/new-umbrella-for-online-ministries/
Of course this is a post and not the main page which is where I would like it to be..

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
So are you just wanting to place the table within the page with no white content background? So it sits on the grey body background?
Let me know π

Hey Tom. I played with it a bit yesterday and found a work around for what I want. It looks amateur, but that is what I am lol Look at the main page https://www.christiannewsnetwork.net/ this is what I am wanting to do. I have found a great rss feed plugin that will work just fine.
I made a post with the table in it and have made it show in the blog section with display full content so it all shows up.
I disabled all the other check boxes and only the title of that post shows up.
I would like it to look more professional. Maybe this is the only way I can do it. Your thoughts?

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperMaybe it would work better to add it to a static page, and then set that static page as your front page (Settings > Reading)?
That way you could keep the blog settings as they were.

Yea I thought of that. Seems they did away with that in the last 2 updates. The last two domains I set up do not have that in the reading settings any longer.
So you don’t think this guy is crazy lol, here is a screen shot.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
the only time i have seen that is if you have no Pages published that are made public.
What if you go to Customizer > Homepage Settings?June 3, 2019 at 12:12 pm #918840Jon
That was it David!! I created a page and the settings appeared. I can live with this way to do it. Thanks for all the suggestions and help.
BTW, I love the plugin in and will promote it whenever I can.
