Can not center the logo file

The site in question is elmoped d-o-t net
I have the latest versions of both generatepress and generatepress pro
In site identity I checkboxed the "hide site title" and also the "hide site taglaine", I also added a logo file.
everything looks good, except that I can not place the logo file (the logo image) in the center of the header, even though I set the layout > header > header alignment to CENTER

I did the exact same settings on other sites and it all went well, but with this site, for some reason, the logo insists to stay on the left. why??
