How make a new menu with categories using wordsmith "blog" template?

Hi! I am a newbie so please bear with me =) Can you make a video on how to make a menu with categories using the Wordsmith theme? I am able to create a new menu with categories but they don't have the same template as the "blog" Is it possible to duplicate the "blog" template instead? Sorry, I am not tech-savvy.

To clarify, you want your navigation menu to be a list of category links instead of the default?
If so, you use the new menu and assign it as your primary menu through Appearance > Menu.
As for how they look, you can style them on the customizer.
