Calculate years on the road

Heya guys,
I'm trying to find a way to automate the number in this sentence in a page: "15 years on the road"
Where the 15 must be adjusted automatically next year to 16.
Or maybe even "4.564 days on the road" and then have it count upwards per day.
Any idea how I can do this?

I found a small plugin that did it, but I'm not sure if I want yet another plugin instead of a little code.
Any ideas appreciated.
Hi there,
Plugins and code are essentially the same thing. As long as they are well coded, it shouldn't slow your site.
You can do a speed test to see if the plugin is slowing down your site or not. If not then you should be fine :)
