Caching Plugin

Hi.
Per your recommendation in the documentation, I installed Autoptimize. Should I also install a caching plugin too? And if so, do you have any recommendations?
Thank you!
Hi there,
Caching plugins are definitely not required and we don’t have a recommended one - we actuallly don’t use one on this site.
I would recommend testing a few and see if you actually see any performance changes.
Let me know if this helps :)
The most popular one is the wp super cache. You can also test wp fastest cache. I found any of those to work well with the theme. If using the second one, don't activate javascript, CSS or HTML optimization settings.
Thanks, Leo and Epic for the advice.
Leo, why don't you recommend caching plugins? Thanks!
Hi there,
the Automptimize plugin does actually cache the optimized CSS and Scripts its not quite the same as the dedicated cache plugins but serves a similar purpose. It's not that we don't recommend the use of one, its just we don't have one too recommend :) Aside of Autoptimize.
Hi, David.
Thanks!
Glad we could be of help.
