[Resolved] Button is opening link in new tab?

The button has just started opening a new tab for the link. It is still set not to, i.e. ‘open link in new tab’ is not checked.

Are you using any caching plugins by any chance? If so make sure to clear them.

If not then please disable all plugins except GP and GB to test.

I disabled Rank Math and it worked again. But I’m not sure what to change in Rank Math once its enabled. I understand this may be beyond your area to advise in…

I’m guessing that there is a setting in RankMath that adds target="_blank" automatically to all links.

Their support team should be able to identify it for you 🙂
