Broken Widgets

My widget images kept disappearing. My host discovered it was due to the Gutenberg plugin. I am switching from the appearance/widgets to customize/widgets to see if it will s it will stop widget images from disappearing.

are you using this plugin on your site:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/gutenberg/
If so - remove that plugin - its not required and should only be used for testing upcoming features.
I removed the gutenberg plugin and my widgets worked again.Thanks for this information
