Breadcrumbs don't work
26 replies · Started by Mihail on July 15, 2021
Hello everybody!
I just ran into a problem, did everything as shown in this guide (video):
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-breadcrumbs/
But, breadcrumbs appeared only inside the articles.
Used before_entry_title
If you change before_entry_title to before_content, in this case bread crumbs appear throughout the site, and even in the heading! This is bad:

How do I make the breadcrumbs appear:
1.inside pages
2.inside articles
?
Please help me.
Hi there,
in the Hook Element make sure you set the Display Rule Locations to just Posts > All Posts and Pages > All Pages this will not include the Post Archives
Can you share a link to the site with the breadcrumbs in place ?
yeap, link
That is very strange. Any chance you can send us the dashboard login with only GP Premium and the breadcrumbs plugin activated to test?
Let me know :)
Login and password for this site?
Yes, I can give a username and password. But here in this thread I will not write)
Tell me where to send your username and password?
I have a guess why the pages do not display breadcrumbs: perhaps this is because the pages DO NOT have a before_entry_title. However, in this case there must be some kind of analogue. Is not it so?
This is really weird.
PLease use the private info field:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-premium-support-forum/#private-information
Done! :)
What if you remove the Administrator in the user field in the display rules?
Can you also disable all plugins except GP Premium and Yoast?
Thanks :)
for all users (rules): https://prnt.sc/1bgy6my
Sorry, but I cannot disable ALL plugins. But I can turn off some.
You can go to the plugins list and see which plugins are still working.
Can you start a staging site so we can go through some debugging tests?
Thanks :)
I can create new site. But if I add a license to the test site, then in this case I will have minus 1 license :(
UPDATE: Are you sure the page has a before_entry_title?
You don't need to add the license to the test site.
How do I add the HOOK then?
