Bold content no showing on homepage

I have added some bold content to my test posts on a new site and the bolding shows on the post page, but not in the content on the homepage.
Hi there,
you trying to add the bold to the H2 tag? If so then try this markup in the Text editor:
<h2><strong>My bold text</strong></h2>
