Blog Post Inner Containers Not Honoring Container Width (Much Smaller)

Hello,
I'm trying to figure out how to set my post inner-container widths for the content containers. Right now it looks like the content-area is set to 720px when all of the other container widths have been set to 1600px. I can't find where to adjust the content area width. Can you help?

You are using wp columns for the narrow part of your content:

As you can see, it's set to 66.66% of the content container width, and there's a 33.33% width of the empty column.
Move the content out of the column structure should fix the problem.

Hmm.. I'm not seeing the issue anymore so I must have done something in the settings. The problem wasn't the columns it was the container that the columns are in, the "content-area" was set to a width of 720px for some reason instead of 1600 but now it's fixed..
Separate, but unrelated question:
Can you add links to the dynamic elements in the "Single Post Hero" element?
For example, I would like to add a dynamic link to the author's page where the element states the article's author. Is this possible?
I'm not sure what's the “Single Post Hero” element, is it coming from a site template you imported?
If it's a Block element, you will be able to add dynamic links to the Headline block/Buttons block of the Generateblocks plugin.

Figured it out thanks! One last question for you - when I enable the empty child theme that I downloaded from generatepress, it breaks the grid element that came from the "Dispatch" theme. See the link below. When I go back to the parent theme it works fine.
Have you copied the CSS in customizer > additional CSS from the parent theme to the child theme?

I copied the CSS in the customizer area. But this seems like it just inflates the amount of unused CSS across the site since it's loaded on every page.. Is this added when you import a site from the Site Library? And is there any way to limit how much CSS is in here?
If you haven't added any CSS yourself, this is the CSS that comes with the Dispatch template.
Without this CSS, the style will not keep.
If the amount of CSS is bugging you, you could try some other sites, I believe Dispatch is the one that has more CSS.
