Hello
I'm setting up the main blog page and am having a couple of small issues.
Firstly, I cannot get the first post to show as an excerpt. It is showing the whole post. I don't have Feature first post clicked.
Secondly only some of the posts have a Read More button but I'm not sure why.
Are you able to suggest anything that would help?

- First post showing as full post: can you make sure there is no more tag added?
- For those posts without read more button, are you using the custom excerpt metabox?

As far as I can see there is no more tag added.
Getting rid of manual excerpts helped, thanks.
Is the Post Format set to Image?
