I have about 50+ pages website/blog/page/1/ etc. indexed by google that I'm trying to figure out how to delete them. There is nothing on these pages. If I want to get rid of them do I just go to "pages" and delete "blog"? If so any downsides to doing this?

Gp itself actually doesn't do anything for permalinks settings and structure as it's all handled by WordPress.

This shouldn't be theme related.
I'm don't believe there is a downside of not having a blog page but might be worth Googling around.
