Hey fellas- thanks again for your awesome product.

My posts page (archive) is ranked #1 for my target keywords in google- Yes!

However, the snippet or meta description in google search results is a hodgepodge of text from the post previews in the page and not the cleanly written summary or meta description. I suspect this isn’t doing wonders for my CTR.

Here’s the cut-and-paste of what appears in search:

Is there a conflict in the head tag or meta description- or do I need a hook for my blog archive page meta to appear correctly?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi there,

glad to hear that ranking! 🙂

The meta description is being generated by Yoast, looking at the page the Meta Description is correct ( as you wrote above ) also I just searched those keywords and the rich snippet also looks correct.

hmmm. Perhaps is a caching issue in my browswer? I’m still getting a hodgepodge of blog text in the snippet.

update- I tried in a different browswer and it looks fine. Thanks again and sorry for bothering you.
