Block-Site Footer without CSS

Hi there, i have a problem with a footer element. It shows up correctly in the editor and has shown up correctly on the site during the development period.
But since yesterday it has lost every styling.
Deactivating plugins didn't help.
Any idea?
Hi there,
I'm not sure I have a full grasp of what you mean.
Do you have any screenshots of what the footer should look like?
Here's what it looks like on my end - https://share.getcloudapp.com/NQuo1AOL
Can you explain a bit more on what's lost? Let us know.

Hi there,
can you re-enable the Footer Element, then go to Dashboard > GenerateBlocks > Settings and click Regenerate CSS.
Then clear any plugin / browser caches.
Let me know.
Hello David, unfortunately it didn't help.
Can you enable the element on site so i can see whats going on ?
Done. Please tell me, when i can deactivate it again. Ty!
In the GenerateBlocks > Settings can you switch the CSS method from External File to Inline and again click Regenerate CSS - let me know.
There is no regenerate CSS option when i switch to inline. Anyway, i tried that before without efforts. (And did it again now).
Was the Footer element created from scratch or was it Duplicated from another block element ?
If it was can you delete the current element and recreate a new one ?
Can't remember, think it was a copy. I recreated a different one and used one of the 2 templates for footer, it happened the same.
David, you can log in if you want!
I can see 2 x Footer elements - are they both published ( one is locked as you're editing ) ?
i am not in editing, you can take over.
Only one is currently published, the other one is saved as draft.
Hi there,
I've seen this happen once before. The cause was due to some corrupted content causing the block parsing to break.
When I view your HTML right above the problem footer, I see this: https://www.screencast.com/t/jgVxfgyh
Those comments aren't supposed to be there - they tell me that the parsing has failed in the content area.
Can you check the content on that page in the "Code Editor" and delete those elements if you see them?
Let me know if that helps or not :)
Hi Tom,
deleted. And it seems, that this was the reason.
There was more, it is strange. In language-setting "english" some english-text appeared, apparently from the basic "Access" site-template.
Those parts weren't visible inside the editor, i found them only in the source-code.
Anyway, hope that it now works as it should, thank you :-)
Greetings
Volker
