Block between header/content (after header) and content/footer (before footer)

Hi. I'd like to add a banner image to some pages of my site. One location would be between the header and the content. The other location would be between the content and the footer.

How could I achieve this within GP's options? Would I create a new block Element (one for after the header, and another block Element for before the footer), and then (not sure next steps)? See screenshot link in private info section for the two locations. Thank you!
