Black Bar when customizing

what happens if you try a different browser?

Tried it on firefox and it's not happening there...was using chrome which is my regular browser.

Do you have any browser extensions / plugins on Chrome?
The other thing is Chrome can be a memory hog. Sounds daft, but it may be a case of 'turning it off and on again'

I have a couple of chrome plugins/ addon's though none of them were recently installed. This just started happening the day before yesterday out of the blue.

Also restarted chrome but that didn't change it.

And tried to replicate it on a couple other of my sites that that don't use GP but the issues doesn't occur.

If I temporarily change the theme, will I lose the current setting/ customizations I've already made?

Settings are stored in the Theme, so they will return once you switch back.

What if you try with those extensions disabled? Just the fact its fine in Firefox says that something is conflicting with Chrome.
