What does this allow me to again?

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperIt should add your banner above your blog posts.
As Leo said though, you can’t use the Sections add-on on a page where you’re displaying blog posts. The snippet will only work on your blog (Settings > Reading > Your latest posts) and your single posts.

StaffCustomer SupportIs that a normal page named blog?
If you set that as the blog page in Settings > Reading then the title should disappear and the posts should show up.
Let me know if this answers your question.

StaffCustomer SupportIt’s hard to tell where Private: Blog title is coming from without seeing the site but I’m guessing that’s a normal page named Private: Blog?

Question how do you set up generate press header image or banner to show up on all pages?
This website’s homepage banner for the free PDF shows up on all pages. How can you do that with generate press theme?
thanks,
Jerry

StaffCustomer SupportYou can use hooks without a conditional tag:
http://demo.generatepress.com/hook-locations/
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/hooks-overview/Or if you are thinking about a global page header then this should help:

Example of this: https://www.localsearchfordentists.com/
The area under the navagation is showing up on all pages.
