Background image in column is not fully covering

Hi
I want to create a section with two columns. One column has text in it, the other column is empty except a background picture. I would like to have the background image fully covering its column but there is always a gap around it. Only if I add something (e.g. a header text) the background covers the whole column...
How can I achieve this without content in the column?

But I found out, that there is a difference in layout between Elementor Editor and front end. On front end it looks like the image is fully coverin. In Elementor Editor not.
I would have added a screenshot showing the view in Elementor Editor. But it seems not to be possible...
You will need to raise that issue with Elementor Support as GP has no control over how any editor works. And unfortunately i have not experienced that issue so cannot advise
