Background Color not filling?

Hi - so sorry for what will probably be a stupid request, but I have put a search bar (Advanced Woo Search) on the very top of the site. As an element.

I can not figure out why the border radius is leaving me with a sliver of white space in each corner. I've got the background set to the right color.

Nothing seems to be helping. Any ideas?
